Half-Sister for Black Caviar

Gilgai Farm have Tweeted a picture of the half-sister to Group I superstars Black Caviar and All Too Hard.

Born on October 15, the bay filly from star producer Helsinge is by exciting young sire Canford Cliffs (IRE), who shuttles from Coolmore in Ireland to Blue Gum Farm in Victoria.

Selected as a replacement after Helsinge missed to Starspangledbanner last spring, Canford Cliffs has proven an inspired choice in hindsight.

The five time Group I winning Champion Miler has sired 32 winners in Europe to date from his first Northern Hemisphere crop of two year-olds headed by Group II winner Painted Cliffs and Group III winner Most Beautiful.

Canford Cliffs has his first Australian bred two year-olds running this season.

Helsinge has a three year-old filly by Bel Esprit and two year-old filly by Casino Prince that were both retained to race, but no yearling having had a year off in 2013.
