The online release of a mammoth catalogue of over 1000 yearlings for next year’s Magic Millions Yearling Sale is sure to have prospective buyers eagerly starting their search for the next racetrack Champion.
With the cover image of Champion 2YO Vancouver as well as this season’s Group 1 Epsom Handicap and record-breaking W.S. Cox Plate heroine Winx, Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox praised the support of breeders for the outstanding quality of catalogue.
“This catalogue is a product of the faith breeders have shown in Magic Millions,” Managing Director Vin Cox stated.
“The breeders have raised the bar and elevated 2016 to the next level. Take a look at the sensational catalogue they are responsible for,” Cox added.
Book 1 of comprises 746 lots while Book 2 contains 270 with numerous relations to Group 1 winners including a Fastnet Rock three-quarter-brother to Amicus (Lot 264), a Street Cry half-brother to Delago Deluxe (639), a full-sister to Foxwedge (242), a Sepoy half-brother to Star Witness (377) as well as a full-sister to Miracles of Life (148).
First crop sires All Too Hard (47) and Pierro (41) have significant representation in the sale with judges split as to which sire will come out on top in the ring.
All Too Hard will be represented by half relations to Happy Trails (400), Polar Success (495) and Zoustar (745), while Pierro will be represented by a half-brother to Golden Slipper winner Vancouver (612) and Caulfield Guineas winner Long John (306) as well as yearlings out of Group 1 mares Dane Ripper, Hurtle Myrtle and Irish Lights, to name but a few.
