Arthur Mitchell

Arthur Mitchell is in partnership with his brother Harry, at Yarraman Park Stud located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales. The property has been home to Thoroughbreds for over 100 years, dating back to the early 1900’s. The Mitchell’s have owned and operated the stud for over 50 years after purchasing the property from legendary jockey, George Moore in 1968.

Yarraman Park is the home to champion sire I Am Invincible as well as Hellbent and Brave Smash. Successful graduates off the farm include Hinchinbrook, Snitzel, Sense Of Occasion and King Of Sparta.

During his career, Arthur Mitchell has been past president of both the Scone Race Club and the Hunter Thoroughbred Breeders Association (HTBA).
