Madison Tims

Madison joined the team at Thoroughbred Breeders Australia and Aushorse after relocating from New Zealand to work within one of the top thoroughbred breeding sectors in the world. Growing up in the heart of the Waikato with an ex-jumps jockey/ trainer grandfather meant horses were essential factors early in life.

Madison studied agriculture and agribusiness at Waikato University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business plus a Certificate III in Horse Breeding. She has been working in the thoroughbred sector since.

Driven by her passion for industry education and providing pathways for those wanting to create fulfilling careers within the thoroughbred sector, she works closely with Aushorse. Maddy’s favourite racing moment is watching the race that stops the nation, the Melbourne Cup, where Verry Elleegant captured the top-class race, and feels the history of the Australian thoroughbred industry and love for the horse is so prominent.
